Effective from 18 April 2025

When booking services with Rooster Sound Studio (https://roostersoundstudio.com), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before submitting any form or making a booking.

🎚️ Services Offered

These Terms apply to the following services:

• Live Sound Recording

• Studio Recording

• Mixing & Mastering

All services are provided by Csaba Gergely as an independent contractor.

📋 Scope of Work & Additional Services

Only services selected during the booking process or agreed upon in writing will be delivered.

If additional work is requested, the contractor:

• Is not obligated to accept the request

• May charge additional fees if such services are performed

Clients are expected to clearly specify all needs in advance.

💳 Payment Schedule

• Recording: Payment is due immediately after the session.

• Mixing:

  • 20% deposit to confirm the booking

  • 30% due after the first mix is sent

  • Remaining 50% due upon final delivery

• Mastering: Payment is due upon delivery.

No deliverables will be released until full payment has been received.

🔁 Revisions & Edits

• Mixing & Mastering services include 2 free revisions per song.

• Extra revisions: £10 each.

• Sending additional stems or tracks after mixing has started may incur a £20 flat fee or may result in a pricing tier upgrade.

• Revisions do not include structural changes or major track additions.

📦 Deliverables

• Final delivery includes high-quality WAVs (MP3s available on request).

• Rough previews or demo mixes may be sent for feedback during the process.

• Final files are delivered only after full payment is received.

🧠 Ownership & Usage

• Upon full payment, you own the final mix and/or master.

• Multitrack sessions and raw recordings remain the property of the contractor unless otherwise agreed in writing.

📍 Travel & Equipment

• For Location Recording Services travel within 20 km is included in the service price.

• For distances beyond 20 km, a travel fee of £0.30/km applies.

• Contractor provides necessary equipment for live recording and mixing unless stated otherwise.

🛑 Cancellations & Scope Changes

• If you cancel after work has begun, you are responsible for covering all work completed up to that point.

• Major scope changes (e.g. adding new songs or services) may require a new agreement.

• The contractor reserves the right to decline major changes that would affect the workflow or schedule.

🕒 Cancellation & Rescheduling

• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the estimated cost.

⏳ Late Payment

• Invoices are due upon delivery unless agreed otherwise in writing.

• A 5% late fee may apply after 14 days of non-payment.

💾 File Storage

• Project files will be stored for up to 60 days after final delivery.

• It is the client’s responsibility to request and back up their final project files.

👷 Contractor Status

All services are provided as an independent contractor. This agreement does not establish any employment, partnership, or joint venture.

⚖️ Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England, while also observing Slovak law for in-person work conducted in Slovakia.
