About Rooster Sound
A modern hybrid mixing studio built around analogue character, practical workflow and direct collaboration.
Rooster Sound was created for independent artists who want a professional mix without the complexity of traditional studio bookings.
I’m Csaba, the engineer behind the studio.
By day I work at Solid State Logic in Oxford, surrounded by the same large-format consoles that shaped the sound of music. Working closely with professionals and pro audio equipment every day has shaped how I think about mixing — not just the equipment itself, but the workflow and decisions that make records sound the way they do.
Rooster Sound grew from a simple idea: great mixes should not require a million-dollar studio. The goal is to bring the depth, balance and musicality of classic analogue thinking into a more modern workflow that gives artists flexibility, recall and is budget friendly.
Artists send their tracks remotely and I mix them through a combination of analogue hardware and digital tools, focusing on clarity, emotion and translation. When needed, mixes can also be reviewed online while the audio plays live from the console, so changes can be discussed and made in real time.
The aim is simple: take the music you have recorded and turn it into something that feels finished, confident and ready to release.
